The small town of Dundee, located in the heart of Wisconsin’s glacier-carved Kettle Moraine State Forest, has so much unexplained UFO activity that some claim it to be the “UFO Capital of the World.”
For decades, the 250-foot tall glacial formation known as Dundee Mountain has frequently been the epicenter of sightings, as well as in the sky along the shores of nearby Long Lake, and even beneath the surface of the water.
According to folklore perpetuated by local legend Bill Benson, even Native Americans had revered the mysterious formation and called it “Spirit Hill.”
I was inspired to create this travel poster when I attended the 30th annual UFO Daze at Benson’s Hide-a-Way.
I wrote more about the history bizarre activity in the area here: Dundee, Wisconsin’s small town “UFO Capital of the World”
