Inspired by a life-long fascination with the lonely, frail psyche of Ed Gein and a 2006 pilgrimage to Plainfield, WI, the Ed Gein website was launched November 16th, 2007 to commemorate 50 years since the veil was lifted and humanity could no longer deny what atrocities the mind was capable of.
